I am a marketing veteran with over 20 years of agency experience. Throughout my career I have worked across multiple disciplines, with my main focus being in the digital space. My technical expertise coupled with my marketing knowledge allows me to seamlessly bridge the gap between IT and sales/marketing departments.

For the last 10 years, I have been immersed in the world of branding. From strategy to creative, production to analysis, I have played a key role in the growth and success of numerous brands, ranging from startups to Fortune 100 companies.

Current Objective

Digital marketing has matured into a space that requires impactful creative, innovative thinking and measurable results. I joined the Ignite Visibility team to help us succeed in this evolved space by integrating my branding and creative experience with their best in class services to develop and offer a new range of services to our existing and future clients.

Branding

At the core of all the work I have been involved with is a deep-seated love for branding. Throughout my career, all of the strategic, creative and technical decisions I have made for a client have been guided by the core principles of brand building.

Production

The often overlooked piece of a successful project, I frequently found myself in the role of producer. My innate project management skills coupled with my willingness to wear multiple hats have helped me see numerous projects to completion. Squeezing 6 images, animation and a client logo into a 200k HTML5 banner, converting a ProRes video to a compressed MP4 and the occasional dive into a PHP file or a mySQL database were all part of the routine when a job needed to go done.

User Experience (UX)

Creating seamless, memorable online experiences for users is one of my passions. Whether it's developing user personas, sketching wireframes or doing extensive QA, my goal is for all online interactions to create clear, unobstructed paths for every user.

CRM & Email Marketing

While new ad platforms come and go, and brands continue to jump on the bandwagons of the next hot social network, properly implemented email marketing continues to be one of the biggest drivers of positive ROI. Over the last 10+ years I have been directly involved in list building and scrubbing, responsive email design and development, marketing automation, segmentation and analytics. In terms of ESP's, I've spent significant time with MailChimp, Pardot, Campaign Monitor and Bronto to name a few.

Programming & Development

Originally my career began as a front-end developer. As my responsibilities shifted I moved away from being hands on with development, but my experience allowed me to transition into the direct oversight and management of development teams. I have spent over 10 years directly managing front-end and back-end development teams through simple microsites and complex e-commerce solutions.

Management

As part of the executive leadership team at my previous agency, I have significant experience managing a variety of teams. Throughout my career I have managed In-house creative and production teams as well as outside vendors across various roles. From internal teams with 5 employees to larger groups with more than 40 members, my broad expertise has helped me lead all of my teams to numerous accomplishments.

Ecommerce

From strategy and creative direction to development and optimization, I have helped numerous brands build an ecommerce presence. My experience includes working with Shopify, Magento, WooCommerce, BigCommerce and other custom ecommerce platforms.

Digital Advertising

With clients looking for new ways to connect with their customers every day, my weekly routine included researching, contacting and testing various new ad platforms to find opportunities. Long-tail keyword research for a PPC campaign, the latest updates to Facebook's ad platform, a custom partnership with Waze and audio sessions for Hulu voiceovers are just the tip of the iceberg when you want to deliver an impactful online campaign.

TV/Video

A seismic shift in video consumption from TV to online led to heavier involvement on my end when it came to video shoots. Over the last 8 years I have helped to concept :30 spots, assisted with casting, been on set in a variety of roles (including director), worked directly with editors, attended audio mixes, converted and prepped files for distribution through various channels and once got to spend the day on set with Mr. T

Latin American Markets

Beyond my experience working in the US market, I spent a large part of my life living and working in Mexico across a number of verticals in Latin America. I am bilingual, fluent in Spanish, but more importantly, I am bicultural.
