As part of a brand refresh and repositioning, Diamond Mattress wanted to update their e-commerce site, launch sites for two new brands and also update their dealer portal.

The new e-commerce site would feature Diamond branded product but would also house products from their three other consumer brands, each with their own unique access point. In order to create the ideal consumer experience, we spent several weeks reviewing potential user paths, entry channels, exit pages and overall site maps before landing on a solution we all agreed upon.

The two new sites being launched were focused on lead generation and user education, so we took a different approach to consumer experience, focusing instead on setting up the user with the information that was most relevant to them and then organically driving them into a contact form or sign up.

Finally, the dealer portal needed a refresh and as one of the most frequently used sites offered by Diamond, the updates needed to address a variety of user concerns while not confusing the end user. The primary goals of the update were to automate user registration and access (e.g. lost password), and to completely integrate with Box.com to set up file sharing, user permissions and additional security options. The user flow we created addressed all of these items very clearly and allowed us to quickly move into production.
